These three little words we shout at each other each year have never been more welcomed. For some, 2020 was catastrophic, while for others, it was an opportunity to reboot. But many more hung out somewhere in the middle, holding on by a thread. The only certainty we could count on was a new challenge around every corner. But if we strip away the masks, isn’t that what every year is like? Only this time, we shared a common challenge across the globe – a pandemic.
At Southeast Veterinary Neurology, we’ve had to change the way we do things, but the show must go on. 2020 reminded us that even if the whole world closes its doors, we cannot. No matter what time, day, or year it is, sick and injured animals will always need us, and we will do whatever it takes to be there for them. We are incredibly proud that despite unprecedented obstacles, we were still able to grow our amazing team, open a new location in Jupiter, and most importantly, help over 3,500 pets!
As for 2021… With each new year, comes a little bit of hope and a lot of resolutions. At SEVN, we have resolved to help every patient, no matter the diagnosis and regardless of the caretaker’s financial status. We are on a mission to help 20,000 pets walk again by the year 2025, but we need your help. Unfortunately, a reality of any veterinary practice is that some pet parents, and even rescue groups, are unable to afford the treatment necessary to support their animals. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Veterinary Care Foundation.
Veterinary Care Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity that helps veterinary practices discount or completely cover the cost of treatment for families and rescue groups in need. Through your generous donations, we’re able to provide essential care to beloved pets and homeless animals whose keepers simply do not have the means to do so.
Last year, we were able to make a difference in the lives of some animals that wouldn’t have had a chance if not for donor support, and we are excited to save even more this year. Please help us by making a New Year’s Resolution to help a pet in need walk again. Click here to give a second chance to a pet and hope to its family.
